Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Ascend Entertainment is a boutique speaker and event management agency, offering quality professional learning for educators.

Ascend Professional Learning is aimed at addressing SACE and Australian Curriculum requirements, and AITSL professional standards for teachers. The events provide opportunities for teachers to engage in meaningful exchanges with both peers and industry professionals.

Ascend Entertainment’s Founder and Director, Anita Baltutis, has had an extensive, successful career as an educator – both in the classroom and working for the SACE Board of South Australia. When you sign up for a course, you get the full benefit of that experience.

In addition to working in education, Anita furthered her own study and worked in the fields of event management and public relations consultancy, as well as directing numerous amateur theatre productions. In 2015, she was the Artistic Director for the Adelaide Festival of Music’s song cycle called Remembrance, based on the ANZAC experiences of the Australian troops. The cycle’s central song was based on Phil Cummings’ book Anzac Biscuits and composed by John Schumann. The song cycle was arranged by Glyn Lehmann.
